Hey, I’m Marina! A mother, wife, serial entrepreneur, CEO of Create & Cultivate, and podcast host, who’s committed to empowering women all around the world both personally & professionally.

I have one hell of a story —

Born in Egypt, I came to the States at a young age with my parents. I was in and out of family homes for the first 5 years, experienced bullying, racial discrimination, and found myself a single mom at the age of 23, which set me on a mission to build the life & business of my dreams and help other women do the same.

After leaving the corporate world, I founded Empowered Confidence — a personal brand development and consulting company where I dedicated over four years to helping women leverage their unique stories and authenticity to build stronger brands, businesses, and communities.

Holding a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Fashion from Johnson & Wales University, my strategic business acumen was further honed through my work with Yahoo!, Tumblr, and Yahoo! News, where I developed digital media campaigns for major global and Fortune 500 brands. My expertise and achievements have been featured in prominent publications including Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, and Business Insider.

In December 2023, I took a significant leap forward by acquiring Create & Cultivate alongside its founder, Jaclyn Johnson. Now serving as the CEO, I leverage my extensive experience to build the best and most modern event franchise in the industry. Our mission is rooted in helping ambitious women create and cultivate the careers of their dreams.

In every endeavor, my vision is clear: to empower women, build communities, and inspire change. My story is not just a testament to overcoming challenges but a beacon of hope and guidance, establishing myself as a mentor and leader in the entrepreneurial world.
